I bought a non airbag wheel for my car. My car was a bone stock 1995 Slicktop with Air bag. I Tried to install the non air bag wheel but the back of it bottomed out on the plastic trim. I tried trimming the plastic off on the column. It still hit. I literally had to cut the splined hub off the back of the wheel, welded on a 1/2" spacer and welded the hub back to the spacer to have a stock looking gap between the wheel and column shroud. Also the airbag style clockspring will not fit through the center of a non airbag wheel. I had to just toss the entire clock spring from the airbag setup.
